- Indicating Silica Gel Beads: Tshdry Orange or blue indicating beads are designed to change color within a humidity range of 20%-50%. Once saturated with moisture, the beads will complete the color change blue to pink (Orange to dark green). It's important to note that the initial color change does not indicate full saturation. The beads will continue to absorb moisture until reaching 50%RH. We recommend periodically checking the silica gel beads to ensure their effectiveness.
- Great Absorbing Capacity: When used in an air-tight sealed container, our indicating silica gel has a general estimate of protecting up to 30 cubic ft of enclosed storage space for every 40 grams of active gel. You can easily use various containers such as T-Sac tea filters, tea bags, organza bags, muslin bags, mason jars, or women's hosiery to hold the beads and allow them to effectively perform their job.
- Easy to Reactivate: Indicating beads have a vibrant blue color or orange color. Simply check the color of the indicating silica gel beads to see if they have changed from blue to pink or (Orange to dark green). Once they turn pink or dark green , you can easily reactivate them by placing them in the oven for 0.5 to 3 hours at 200°F--250°F (not over 250°F). Actual reactivation time may be shorter depending on the condition of the silica gel beads. Remember to check the color of the silica gel beads for proper reactivation.
